He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Horstmanshof and Frances Horstmanshof of Wyoming; his parents-in-law, Gerrit and Bertha Essenburg; and his brother-in-law Glenn Essenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Floreen Horstmanshof (Essenburg); his sons, Dr. Douglas Horstmanshof (Tiffany) of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Horstmanshof (Stephanie) of Shoreline, WA.; his grandchildren, Sarah, David, Isabella, Andrew and Zoe; his sisters, Diane Elve (Randy) and Gayle Vorenkamp (Rick); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Essenburg and Phila Essenburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces & great nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson's Association of West Michigan or Faith Hospice.
