Gary Barry Mitchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Barry Mitchell of Jenison, Michigan, born in Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sharon Kay Mitchell and James Robert Mitchell, Jr.; and his grandparents, James Mitchell Sr. and Gastel Mitchell (Burl). He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Aucoin (Larry Aucoin), Adam Mitchell (Rhea Mitchell) and Morgan Lemoine (Bradley Lemoine); his grandchildren, Landon Aucoin, Kinsley Aucoin, Lily Lemoine, Lakyn Aucoin, Sutton Lemoine, Asher Mitchell and Collins Lemoine; and his pets, Stormi and Ollie. He is also survived by many friends, students, players, coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:15 PM at the Live Oak High School (36079 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70706). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 5:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Gary.
