We bid farewell to Evelyn Wright of Jenison, Michigan, born in Marvell, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 23, 2024 at the age of 81. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She is survived by: her children, Lecia Renee Wright Battle and Jeffrey Keith Wright; her granddaughter Mary Tanecia Battle; her former husband Samuel Wright; her friends, Thelma, Elaine, Don and Darcy; her half-sister Norma Jean Boyd (Curtis); and her siblings, Joe Lewis Lackey, Moszie Lee Williams (Bob) and Pearlie Mae Minor. She is also survived by foster children; and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors.
