Evelyn Stursma Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Stursma of Jenison, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Veltema and Agnet Veltema; her husband Theodore "Ted" Stursma; her brothers, Stu, George Veltema (Jean) and Marv Veltema (Cornie); and her brothers-in-law, Don Boerman and Warren Faber.
She is survived by: her children, Melodee VanDyk, Trudy (Mark DeNooyer), Lyle (Kylee Stursma), Glenda Stursma, Sue (Jeff Wynsma) and Wendy Stursma (Lisa Sachs); her grandchildren, Brianna VanDyk, Anika Byl (Nate), Rosten VanDyk, Kristyn DeNooyer Garcia (Pablo), Josiah DeNooyer, Brielle DeNooyer, Jackson Stursma, Nicole Wynsma, Amanda Wynsma (Caleb Thomas), Joshua Wynsma, Andrew O'Carsten (Kendall) and Jessica Brower (Jose Agosto); her great grandchild Raylinn Garcia; her sisters, Leona Boerman and Verna Faber; her niece Marcy Faber; and her child Cuddling. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
