He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Kay Otto; and his son Ernst Justus Otto. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Otto and Tracy Lawrence (Bob); and his grandchildren, Lucas Jonker (Tori), Kaleb Jonker (Dani), Roman Jonker and Holly Lawrence.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ernst's memory to Faith Hospice or Waterford Place (Sunset Legacy Foundation), organizations that held a special place in his heart.
