Diane Busscher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Busscher of Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John VanDyke; her brother Ronald VanDyke; her sister-in-law Laurie VanDyke; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Johanna Busscher; and her nephew Vincent Busscher.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Busscher; her children, Ranee Christian (Gordon), Bradley Busscher (Michelle), Brent Busscher (Cindy) and Doug Busscher (Shannon); her grandchildren, Abigail (Aaron Langerak), Katherine, Jack Christian, Brianna, Ashten, Alexander, Braeden Busscher, Morgan, Courtney, Ella Busscher, Korrine, Joelle and Nico Busscher; her mother Adriana VanDyke; her siblings, Jan Wiersum (Ron), Kevin VanDyke (Bev) and Nancee Holzgen (Burk); and her siblings-in-law, Sue VanDyke, Arthur Busscher, Glen Busscher (Susan), Paul Busscher and Warren Busscher (Diane). She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a fighter, surviving a three-month battle with COVID-19 and more than two months of complications associated with it.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to any of the three Christian schools attended by her grandchildren – Grand Rapids Christian, Grandville Calvin Christian, or Unity Christian High School.
