We bid farewell to David Lee Jongekrijg of Jenison, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 58. David Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Jongekrijg and Grada Jongekrijg; his in-laws, Simon and Marian Koster; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Walters and Mike Geelhoed.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Amanda, Brandon Kamps, Tiffanie, Kevin Snip, Sylene and Alex Wilkening; his grandchildren, Kenny, Jordan, Rebecca, Caleb, Elijah and Elizabeth; his siblings, Thea (Lloyd Scholten), Carol (Dale Van Rhee), Mark (Norma Jongekrijg), Bette (Elwyn Schierbeek), Maris (Robert Callejas), Jan (Loren Arendsen), Bruce (Sheryl Jongekrijg) and Deb (Calvin Schierbeek); his in-laws, Nancy Geelhoed, Beth, Steve Broersma, Vicky, Steve Avink, Rod and Jamie Koster; and also, Dan and Tracie Bostwick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Dave, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice who helped the family through Dave's final days.
