He was predeceased by: his wife Dee; and his sister Tressa Van Dam. He is survived by: his children, Cindee, Steve Hulst, Cari, Kevin Wiersema, Curt and Chris Van Heuvelen; his great grandchildren, Addie, Carter, Carson Tobias and Trace Anderson; his siblings, Marv, Loie Van Heuvelen and Gene Van Heuvelen; his siblings-in-law, Marcella Flier, Lloyd, Karen Van Duyn, Harold, Sue Van Duyn, Dort Sturgis and Paul Van Duyn; and also, Kati Tobias (David), Dani Nowicki, Taylor Anderson (Ryan), Codi Wiersema, Collin Wiersema, Jessica Faber (Kevin) and Lindsey Van Heuvelen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
