She was predeceased by: her daughters, Kimberly Sasso Dykema and Michelle Sasso; her parents, William Belkum and Cecilia Van Belkum; her parents-in-law, Anthony and Evelyn Sasso; and her brother Bill Van Belkum.
She is survived by: her husband Bart "Sandy" Sasso; her daughter Kathryn Thompson (Art); her grandchildren, Brian Dykema, Heather Dykema and Christopher Thompson; her brothers, John Van Belkum (Connie) and Joe Van Belkum; and her siblings-in-law, Augustina Kreger and Tony Sasso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of choice.
