It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Koetje of Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Buikema and Etta Buikema; and her siblings, Garry Buikema and Helen Hutt (Rosema). She is survived by: her husband Al Koetje; her children, Sue Tacoma (Tim), Jim Koetje (Lisa) and Kathy VanKalker; her grandchildren, Ben Tacoma (Hananiah), Tom Tacoma (Ashley), Alex Tacoma (Emily), Alan Koetje (Dana), Anna Conrad (Aubrey), Curtis Koetje (Anya), Isaak and Ashlee VanKalker; and her sister-in-law Judy Koetje. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (2371 Riley St, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
