She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Koning; her parents, Fern James and Carl James; her sons, Max "Skeeter" Helms, Greg Stogsdill, Ron Koning, Jim Koning Jr. and Don Koning; her brother Rick James; and her daughter-in-law Patricia McKenize.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Herrington, Bruce Koning (Sally) and Mary Koning; her sister Judy Randall; and her sister-in-law Pat James. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
