With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Oakeson (Jenison, Michigan), who passed away on February 9, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold "Oakie" Oakeson; and her sisters, Bonnie McCloud and Merry Berglund. She is survived by: her children, Sandi Clegg, Brad Clegg, Scott Oakeson, Kellie Durr and Dan Durr; her grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Jack Clegg, Matthew and Joseph Durr; her niece Jennifer; and her sister Barbara Lane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics or Humane Society of West Michigan.
