She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Bailey and Stanley Bailey. She is survived by: her brother Doug Bailey; her husband Michael Barnes of Jenison, Michigan; her daughters, Abby Barnes Nicol (Ben) of Indianapolis, Indiana. and Sarah Barnes Diaz (Michael) of Indianapolis, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, Graham of Indianapolis, Indiana., Ashton of Indianapolis, Indiana., Grier Nicol of Indianapolis, Indiana., Charlie of Indianapolis, Indiana. and Max Diaz of Indianapolis, Indiana.. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Due to Covid, a small private family and invitation only memorial service will take place on Friday, April 23 at Holy Cross Lutheran in Jenison, Michigan. An outdoor Covid-conscious Celebration of Life event - open to all of Amy's friends and family - will occur at 4 p. m. Friday, April 23 with details to follow.
