He was predeceased by: his former wife Marjorie Veurink; his children-in-law, Holly Veurink and Gordon Snip; and his grandson Adam Veurink. He is survived by: his wife Lois Veurink; his children, Sheryl (Dave Balicki), Dennis (Marie Veurink), Jan Snip, Doug (Sandy Veurink), Kathy (Craig Elenbaas) and Chris (Jeff Snedeker); his grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Stephen, Bethany, David, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jordan, Alicia, Ryan, Eric, Staci, Amber, Azandra, Jevan, Jared, Kaelyn, Parker, Taylor, Sidney, Madison, Brendon, Amilcar and Kimberly; his siblings, Bob (Gloria Veurink) and Joyce (Fred Hoekzema); and his sister-in-law Ruth Dykgraaf. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
