He was predeceased by: his parent Ing. He is survived by: his wife Laura Chávez; his daughters, Laura Chávez and Martha Cressy (Scott); his grandchildren, Grayson and Tristan Cressy; his siblings, Paty, Maria Eugenia, Carlos, Alberto Chávez Alanis and Eduardo Chávez Alanis; and his father-in-law Armando Treviño Garza. He is also survived by many family members and cherished friends.
