He was predeceased by : his parents, John "Joe" and Helen Gillett (McCabe); his siblings, Kathleen Gillett and Stewart Gillett; and his brother-in-law Richard Schmitt.
He is survived by : his wife Wendy Gillett of Jeddo; his children, David Liebler (Brenda) of Brown City, Kellee Dittenber of Lewiston and Melinda Priehs (Brian) of Avoca; his sisters, Mariol Schmitt of Marysville and Barbara Stocker (Rollin) of Marysville; and his siblings-in-law, Edna Gillett of Ohio, William, Janet Wilson of Port Huron and Linda Manns of Yale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
