He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonino Abbate and Sarafina Abbate (Cuchenella); and his daughter Sara Rook. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Abbate (Pike). He is also survived by loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
