With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Jo VanDyke of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Fredrick "Chris" Frey; and her friend Sonya "Sam" Smith. She is survived by: her husband Cecil VanDyke; her children, Jessena Kirk (Jesse), Christopher Connell, Selena Henderson, Cierra Kirk, Destiny Kirk, Kyleah Philson, Niylah Mathis, Mya Connell, Mitchell Connell II (Amanda), Kalep Connell and Chasidy Hayes (family: Michael Smith); her brother-in-law Benjamin VanDyke, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Stacia Typpi, Mikayla Bujno-Fisher and Robbie Kennedy; and her siblings, Denise Frey, Tammy Frey, Howard Kennedy, Al Sharpe, Virginia Garr (David), Rayburn Kennedy, Greg Kennedy, Andy Hughes and Kevin Kennedy (Janie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Jackson (4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
