He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Spangler and Ruth Spangler (Hirschman); his daughter Debra Spangler; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Gannon, Sharon Spangler, Tim Gannon and Barry Butterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his son Ronald Spangler, Jr.; his grandson Zachary Spangler; his siblings, Richard Spangler (Dick) and Carol Butterfield (Spangler); and his uncle Larry Hirschman. He is also survived by brothers and sisters and their extended families.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (3637 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
