He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wheeler and Ruth Wheeler; and his brother Jackie Wheeler of Black Mountain. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his son Jim Wheeler (Dodi); his grandchildren, Jack of Jackson, Adam of Jackson and Allison of Jackson; his sister Gail Freirich (Glenn); and his sister-in-law Vickey Wheeler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Queen's Church (1111 Carlton Blvd, Jackson, MI 49203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (1111 Carlton Blvd, Jackson, MI 49203).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Elementary School would be appreciated.
