It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Paula Fillmore of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 77, on March 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Markiewicz and Catherine Markiewicz; her in-laws, George (Herb) and Doris Fillmore; her sister-in-law Caren Leady; and her nephew Joey.
She is survived by: her husband George (Corky); her sons, Chris (Jessie Torrey) and Jon Fillmore (Dana); her grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary (Elysee), Rain and Dash Fillmore; and her siblings, Sue Trefry (Don), Bob (Sally), Marty Markiewicz (Carole) and Terry Burkey (Chris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home (204 N Blackstone St, Jackson, MI 49201). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paula's name may be made to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF).
