She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Pierce and Orpha Pierce (Haney); her husband Warren Hicks; and her siblings, Kay Pierce and Jim Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hicks (Kathy) of Jackson and Tammy Hicks of Huntsville, Alabama; her granddaughter Beth Ostendorf (Dave); and her great grandchild Josie Ostendorf. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
