Linda Mary Hammond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Mary Hammond of Jackson, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Grindall and Octa Grindall (Forsythe); her husband Leon Hammond; and her son Eddie Hammond. She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Hammond; her grandson Evan Hampton; her brother George Grindall (late Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Alice Creech, Edna Hammond and Genny Hammond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Jackson (4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
