He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard, Sr. Soltis and Adeline Soltis (Mietelka); his wife Lorraine; and his daughter Peggy Leavitt. He is survived by: his daughter Patti Schroder; his son-in-law Randy Leavitt; and his grandchildren, Emily Leavitt, Harry Jaques and Stacy Wolf.
