She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Anderson and Frances Anderson (Mattis); her husband Malcolm J. Day; and her sisters, Jane Wyrick and Joyce Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Denise, Steve (Mary Beth), Lynda (Rick) and Penny; her grandchildren, Cristine (Chris), Sara, Tress (Brian), Jessica (Dane), Kelsi, Ryan (Maddy), Kyler (Donna), Alex (Jaycie), Branden (May), Kaylee, Lyndsee and David; her great grandchildren, Alexia, Audrey, Delaney, Josiah, Karlee and Cora; and her sister Janice Reinhart.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Cascades Humane Society, or Heifer International.
