He is survived by: his wife Melissa (Risner); his children, Nathan Smith of Lansing, Caleb Medina of Jackson, Dylan Dyer of Jackson, Lindsay Risner of Jackson and Austin Dyer of Jackson; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Miller and Scarlet Smith; his brothers, Greg Dyer of Jackson and Vernon Dyer (Ashley) of Horton; and his parents-in-law, Donnie Risner Sr. and Regina Crockett of Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
