It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsa M. Borges in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Baez and Maria Baez (Abreu); and her husband Pedro V. Borges. She is survived by: her children, Marelvi Siewertsz van (Frederik), Reesema of Chelsea, MI, Pedro Jr. Borges (Audrey) of Virginia Beach, VA and Carlos Borges (Gloria) of Montreal, Canada; and her siblings, Jose Manuel Baez of Venezuela and Karmen Baez of Venezuela. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Elara Caring Hospice in Jackson, MI.
