She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey M. Preece and Essie Preece (Blackburn); her son Garry Dale Small; her husbands, Perry Small, George Gordon and Carroll Lockhart; and her siblings, Troy, Chester, Bradley, William Oke (Bill) of Georgetown, Kathleen Grimes, Floretta Kirk and Olivene Burns.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Small of Lansing; her siblings, Betty Muncy of Inez, Frances Callahan of Cincinnati, Garmon David of Inez, Lowell Thomas (LT) of Inez and Brenda Preece-Collins of Inez, Kentucky.; and her nephew Roger Kirk.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Jackson (4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202).
