She was predeceased by: her parents, Hezzie Sr. and Alice Samons; and her siblings, Velva Marshall, Martha Slone, Glen Samons, Hezzie Samons Jr. and Estel Samons.
She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Castle and Gracie Crocker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
