He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Mary Wallace Sr. (Cash); his daughter Mary E. Bodman (Rusty); and his brothers, George, Vincent and John.

He is survived by : his wife Mary E. Wallace (Bauer); and his child Dale J. Wallace Jr. (Eileen). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
