It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Anita Moffitt of Jackson, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Celia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Celia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sluiter and Thelma Sluiter; her husband Duane Moffitt; and her sister Sandra Chomic. She is survived by: her children, Rayette (Ruoff), Pamela Reinker (Daniel), Philip Moffitt (Denise) and Ellen Walker (Robert). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
