He is survived by: his wife Helga; his children, Susan Fitzpatrick (Bob) of Jackson, Karl Fridd (Connie) of Jackson and Jenny Smith (Tom) of Jackson; his great grandchildren, Drew, Brock, Connor, Riley, Brody, Jack, Mattie, Giovanni, Gracie, Ashley, Brandon, Sebastian, David and Dominic; his siblings, Phil (Joyce), Peggy and Donald (Ila); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Fridd and Sarra.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Bethany Care Home, 1000 E. Porter Street, Jackson, Michigan, 49202.
