We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Verna Jean Hollenbeck of Ithaca, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mischke and Hilda Mischke (Kuhlman); her brother Alton Mischke; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Muringer. She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Pung (Larry) of Ithaca, MI and Janeen Whitmer (Steve) of Midland, MI; her grandchildren, Megan, Kayla, Addison and Logan; her brothers, Norman Mischke (Earlene) and Donald Mischke (Karen); and her brother-in-law Robert Muringer of Bay City, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many special friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michigan Lutheran Seminary, 2777 Hardin St. Saginaw, MI 48706, or Gratiot County Commission on Aging, 515 S. Pine River St., Ithaca, MI 48847.
