He was predeceased by: his brother Austin Guy Yaklin; his grandparents, Robert Wallschlager, Jacquelyn Altman and Grant "Guy" Yaklin; and his uncles, Thomas Wallschlager and Timothy Wallschlager.

He is survived by: his parents, Duane Louis Yaklin of Flippin, AR and Tara Lynn Biggers (Wallschlager) of DeWitt, MI; his siblings, Jack Yaklin (Jessica) of DeWitt, MI, Dylan Biggers of DeWitt, MI and Isabelle Biggers of DeWitt, MI; his niece Amelia Yaklin; his grandparents, Gary, Judy Wilson and Maureen Keating; his aunts and uncles, Tammy Goulding, Tracy Oszust, Troy Yaklin (Jim), Theresa Zariske (Jeff), Jason Yaklin (Christen) and Stephanie Yaklin (Darby); and his cousin Jacob Oszust.
