The memory of Thomas Dale Nester (Ithaca, Michigan), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas I. Nester and Verna Fent; his wife Sally A. Burk; and his brothers, Don, David and Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Dale Nester, Marion (Ithaca), Jill Barrett and Ron Nester. He is also survived by six grandchildren (and spouses) and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca (218 E Newark St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Ithaca Community Food Pantry, the Memorial Fund of the Ithaca Presbyterian Church, Heartland Hospice, or Veteran Affairs.
