She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Willis and Martha Doll Hutchinson (Gabby); her husband Donald Lee Pierce; her brothers-in-law, Ken Decess and Ben Schlachter; and her close friend Larry Mott.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Ledezma of Lake Havasu, AZ and Russell (Mary Pierce St); her grandsons, Jacob (Taylor Teegarden Pierce) and Owen Pierce; her great grandchild Maren Pierce; her siblings, Marie Decess, Margilee Schlachter, Dianne (Gary Miller) and William (Diane Hutchinson); and her sister-in-law Marian Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hill Church of Christ or Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
