It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Charles Schleder of Ithaca, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Schleder and Beatrice Schleder (Marrin); and his siblings, Marilyn Schleder, Robert Schleder, Phillip Schleder and Evelyn Schleder.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Schleder (Hanes) of Ithaca, MI; his children, Katie Parrish of Ithaca, MI, Elizabeth, Nickolas Rice of Midland, MI, Charla and David Peterson of Holland, MI; his grandchildren, Emily Landry (Brandon), Olivia Parrish, Aliza Rice and Lydia Rice; and his siblings, Richard Schleder of Ithaca, MI and Rayna Bos of Kentwood, MI..
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ithaca Baptist Church (221 Norton Gibbs Dr, Ithaca, MI 48847). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at the same location.
