He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Leona Schlarf and Walter; his wife Olga Karowictz Humphrey; his daughter Dawn Schlarf; and his siblings, Leona Elliott, Barbara Kanine, Shirley Gath and Ted Schlarf.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Schlarf (Ronda) of St. Louis, MI, Steve Schlarf (Julie Robinson) of Saginaw, MI and Dale Schlarf (Janice) of Lake Isabella, MI; his grandchildren, Robert, Kaylie, Jessica, Matthew, Erika, Abby and Jenny; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, Eric and Maddi; and his sister Harriet Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
