With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex Arrington Rimmel of Ithaca, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Rimmel and Pauline Rimmel (Peck); his wife Doff; his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Mary Rimmel; and his brother-in-law David McLinden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Bond (Larry) of Elwell, MI, Susan Sparks (Chris) of Sumner, MI and Shelley Faucette (Larry) of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Jayms Bond (Carrie), Eric Bond (Bec), Andrew Bond (Rachel), Angela Ostrander (Jason), Michael Sparks (Nikki), Megan Hessbrook (Derek), Ashleigh Faucette and Haleigh Faucette; and his sister Suzanne McLinden of Ponte Vedra, FL. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
