It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jean (Amy) Lumsden of Ithaca, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill William and Esther Lulu Amy (Akins); her husband Richard Ayre Lumsden III; her sons, Leonard, Allen Wolfgang and Robert Wolfgang; her son-in-law Henry Kubin; and her siblings, Ilene, Verna, Pauline, Daniel and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Wolfgang (Bonnie) of Newberry, MI, Christine Roberts (Russell) of Williamsburg, KY, Mary Kubin of St. Louis, MI and Betty Wakefield (H. C.) of Stanton, MI; her grandchildren, Jeff Wolfgang (Maria), Ben Sowers, Jacob Sowers, Christian Sowers, Dr. Becca Jasinski (Jason), Amy Bowman (Jonathan) and Sean Lumsden (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Brianne, Nora, Logan, Corbin, Taylor, Easton, Gunner, Annabelle, Jackson, Alaina and Madison; and her brother-in-law Walter Lumsden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Women's Aid of Gratiot County, Ithaca Food Pantry, or, in Marilyn's memory, take someone to lunch and spend time with them.
