Janet Mimranek Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2019, at the age of 75, Janet Mimranek (Ithaca, Michigan), born in Alma, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Kanitz and Clella Kanitz (Mortweet); her grandson Johnathan Fitzpatrick; and her brother Richard "Dick" Kanitz. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Mimranek of Ithaca; her children, Karen Fitzpatrick (Jim) of Ithaca, Kathy McVeigh (Joel) of Ithaca, Koreen Zuker (Loren Marburg) of Alma and John Mimranek (Selena) of Ithaca; her grandchildren, Jennifer Whitford (Jon), James Fitzpatrick, Joseph Fitzpatrick, Joel McVeigh (William), Joshua McVeigh (Lyndsey Bush), Kassi DeGeneres (John), Tyler Zuker, John Snyder, Jack and Joey Mimranek; her great grandchildren, Brady, Lane, Tucker Whitford, Jase, Jaxson McVeigh and Stella Rose DeGeneres; and her brother Tom Kanitz (Kathy) of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Gratiot County Commission on Aging or Gratiot County Animal Shelter.
