He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Kimmel and Hazel Kimmel (Carrothers); and his siblings, Lester of Duane, Ivan, Bonnie, Connie, Joyce, Phyllis, Twalla and Ronald.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jana Kimmel of Midland, Lisa Harwood of Mt. Morris and Rich Kimmel (Jennifer) of Breckenridge; his grandchildren, Brett Byers (Natalie Wilson), Jordan Harwood, Ashleigh Harwood (Jesse Adkins) and Brandon Byers; his sisters, Waneta Bigelow (Alton), Ruth Malek (Joe), Sharilyn Chilcoat (Jim) and Rosemary Bancroft; and his sister-in-law Sandra Kimmel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
