He is survived by: his wife Carol Wetzel; his sons, Kurt Wetzel (Sitti Isha), Sean Wetzel (Michele), Matt Wetzel (Becca) and Travis Wetzel (Madi); his grandsons, Jacob and Lucas Wetzel; his siblings, Christine Calkins, Richard Wetzel and Gerald Wetzel; and his nieces, Ginger Wetzel (Mark Johnson) and Rachel Chapko (Adam).
