He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Pitcher and Hazel Pitcher (Pitcher); his wife Pauline Temple; his son-in-law Michael Thibodeaux; and his sister Ardith (Don Ramsey).

He is survived by: his children, Jerald (Elaine Pitcher) and Susan Thibodeaux of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Nickolas (Tina Pitcher), Marc (Amanda Pitcher) and Kristyn (Mahan Mawadj); and his great grandchildren, Garison, Preston, Ethan, Madison and Myah.
