It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Leslie Wineland of Ithaca, Michigan, born in Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Benjamin and Letha Margaret Wineland (Winslow); his siblings, Lloyd Wineland, Dale Wineland, Doris Lightner and Karen Wineland; and his pet Janie Jo.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Eckelbarger; his children, Leslie Wineland (Brenda) and Cynthia Frederick (Patrick); his grandchildren, Tayler Wineland, Keilsey Wineland, Tanner Frederick, Haylie Frederick and Gracie Frederick; his great grandchildren, Branson and Adeline; his brothers, Larry Wineland (Bette), Laurence Wineland (Judy) and Keith Wineland (Debi); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanene Wright (Dave) and Dave Eckelbarger (Jan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
