She was predeceased by: her parents, Flossie Stansbury (Heard) and Herbert F. Stansbury; her husband Wilfred V. Holmgren; and her sister Shirley Thompson. She is survived by: her children, David "Lu" Holmgren (Mary "Cookie") of Ishpeming, Joan Nelson (Bruce) of Negaunee and Julianne Quayle (George) of Ishpeming; her grandchildren, Hope Carlson (Tom), Tonilee Cullison (Kurt), Heidi Dionne (Russell), Heather Richardson (Mark), Tammy Carlson (John), Annette Junak (Bob) and Ron Hanlon (Kara); and her niece Pam Mahany.
