He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sharland and Vieno Sharland (Heikkila); and his brothers, Joseph and Patrick Sharland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sharland (Guidebeck); his son Daniel Sharland (Maria); his brothers, Richard Sharland and Mike Sharland (Paula); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Sharland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (325 S Pine St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church- K/D Hall (325 S Pine St, Ishpeming, MI 49849).
