He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Rice and Marjorie Sanchez-Palmer (Palmer). He is survived by: his son Nathaniel Rice of Hubbell, MI; and his sisters, Paula Sanchez of Gwinn and Vickie Singer (Gordon) of Republic. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
