She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Mattson (Metsala) and John Mattson; her sons, Dale and Dean; and her brother Kenneth Mattson.
She is survived by: her husband William Poirier of Ishpeming; her son Daniel Poirier (Lois) of Negaunee; her grandsons, Dale and Scott Poirier (Emily); and her siblings, Cindi Harju (Mike) of Negaunee, Leona Sakkinen (Art) of Calumet, Mike Mattson (Debbie) of Marquette and Russell Mattson (Lorraine) of Two Harbors, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
