We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2023, at the age of 64, Sheryl Kay Ring (Ishpeming, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Yvonne G. Scanlon (Brown) and Jack F. Scanlon; and her brother Dan Scanlon. She is survived by: her husband David F. Ring of Ishpeming; her sons, Cory Hocking of Rhinelander, WI and Tom Hocking (Dessa) of Marquette; her grandson Declan Hocking; her siblings, Patrick Scanlon (Carrie) of Ishpeming, Mary Ann Ackley (John) of Galesburg and John Scanlon (Barb) of Ishpeming; and her sister-in-law Carol Scanlon of Negaunee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sheryl's family in order to set up a college fund for her grandson Declan Hocking.
